Juan Uribe has agreed to a two year deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers. After hitting sub .200 in his first two years of a three year contract with the Dodgers, Uribe got his act together and slashed a strong .273/.331/.438 with 12 HRs and a healthy 4.1 WAR in 2013. Uribe, who is currently 34 years old, has always hit for a decent average with some power but has never been overly dominant in either category. Uribe was the clear number one option left on the free agent market, and in a year where many teams are looking for 3B options the Dodgers got their guy. This signing also puts the Dodgers out of the Michael Young sweepstakes.
